About Us

Team NuTorious was an idea we have had most of our gaming life that has now turned into a semi-professional Esports organization. Our eyes are set on bringing back what has been lost for so long in the big Esports gaming scene, simple fun. From five-stacking in silver II lobbies with //NUT as our tagline, to a rapidly growing organization tight with its community and teams. We see our selves as not just another average NA underdog Esports clan that is ready to dominate, but a group to care for, a group to root for, and most importantly a group to NuT for.

NuT Stream

The team's front office broadcasts NuT matches on our Twitch Channel. While the team plays on a separate discord call, we cast the game using our incredibly limited knowledge.

What We Play In

Faceit ESEA League Advanced

Counter Strike

Our main focus is progressing up the ranks of the ESEA League. We started in the Open division in 2022 and have now dominated to the Advanced division over the past 3 years. ESEA League gives the most opportunity to break into the professional Counter Strike scene via ESL Pro League.

RLCS Qualifiers

Rocket League

Coming in 193rd place and then improving to 105th, our Rocket League squad is rapidly rising the ranks during the RLCS Regional Qualifiers this year. Our next RLCS opportunity will take place on April 27 2025.

Off Season Shenanigans (OSSCS)

Counter Strike

OSS (shoutout rtx) is a competitive tournament that runs between ESEA seasons. Many top Advanced, Main and even ECL teams compete in OSS and it gives us a good way to both get content as well as keep the team prepared for the upcoming ESEA season. Their prize pool has also grown to over $2,000 dollars.

We have been to three in person events as Team NuTorious over the past two years. These events have been the current driving force to make a difference in the Esports scene and we have such a blast there. It gives us an insane amount of content, the players a unique experience, and a way to connect with the community more. We hope to continue returning to more Frag Events soon (they are super expensive we would go to every single one if we could).

CS Qualifiers

Counter Strike

ESL runs ESEA league but ESL is not the only organizer in professional CS2. Other organisers exist such as PGL, and Blast.tv also participate in running CS2 tournaments. We are actively taking part in as many open qualifiers as we can. Recently (2025) we were able to qualify for the PGL Bucharest North American Closed Qualifier which featured 32 of NA’s top teams. The more closed qualifiers we can qualify to, the more chances we have at VRS rankings.
